.....and now She's back.. but....

T3 Heathrow, as usual, is packed and chaotic with passengers and relatives welcoming and sending off their loved ones. From the flight info, MH4 has landed right on time, despite for over an hour delay at KLIA. I was really looking forward to have her in my arms after her long absence looking after her beloved father..!!.. I want to hear more of events and updates on his passing.
An hour lapsed but she has yet to emerge out into the meeting point. I was quite restless by now, when earlier on whilst in Malaysia, she said she is to accompany another passenger. The passenger apparently, is as old as my eldest son and not a young passenger traveling alone as I have expected. The immigration at any UK Port of Entry has been very strict lately... (more about this later..)
Her sms to me is that she is at the Alitalia desk (the MAS UK handling agent) situated just after baggage collection point, lodging report of damages to one of her luggages. Another hour passed, they still have not appeared....and by then the mother of the passenger (currently living in Oxfordshire) have arrived with her youngest sibling - a ten-year boy who is still undergoing treatment here in the UK.
At almost 11am, the missus appeared with the sad news that the passenger (name withheld) was refused entry. He is to take the next flight home at 12.30pm..!! The mother by now broke down in tears mumbling something that even I cannot understand! I can't help feeling sad too especially seeing her youngest son, who is yet to understand about the whole incident. He kept asking his mother why his 'abang' had not emerged.!!!
There are unconfirmed reports that the normal 6-month entry period without visa for visiting Malaysian tourists into the UK will be halved..!! These last few years, I have noticed that the immigration officers at Heathrow have been more strict than ever. Reportedly, at least between 2-5 passengers from Malaysia were refused entry daily (we have three MAS flights daily for that matter). They are mostly passengers in their teens & twenties.!!!..
My advice to those within that age limit,..please ..!!..please..!!.
1. Be aware on how you answer when asked. The Immigration Officers are known to be multi-lingual..!!!.

2. Bring documents to prove who and what you are...and lastly
3. From the words of my own cousin when he visited us a couple of years ago.."Kalau nak bohong, awak mesti pandai cara berbohong..!!!!.." - said the immigration officer in perfect Malay. My cousin and wife were dumbfounded!!. They were given 3 weeks entry permit (whilst their passport being withheld by the officers)...The event that led for the officer to utter those words in perfect Malay is another story.....
